[although she and C.C. weren't on the same side, that didn't mean that Suzaku was going to ignore the fact that her life was obviously in danger...whether he was immortal or not. burning couldn't be at all pleasant either way, so she'd hurried out the door without a second thought.
the district was blocked off, which was a problem of course, but upon arriving at the scene she'd managed to clamber up one of the city's numerous steam-pipes and onto the roof, hurrying along clumsily over chipped and broken tiles, looking from the green-haired woman currently trapped in the mess]
