Singing and dancing, that was what the little fluff ball loved to do, and that was exactly what it was doing right now, just because it felt like doing so. It was dark, and very much nighttime, but didn't that make the song even better and even more romantic? Never mind that it didn't know where to start looking for its one true love-- love would always bring them closer! That was a given fact!

For now, Mokona could practice, and get its act together. Ready its voice, polish its lyrics, fix its dance act... Make sure everything was perfect, but there should be nothing less, for that one significant person.

Oh, it was so excited to know how much praise it would get, and how happy that person would be to watch Mokona's performance. Maybe it should get a gift too... But what kind of gift? And how? And where? When was answered easily-- tomorrow, because everything was just closed. Mokona stood where it was for a little while, folding its stubby little arms and tilting side to side in an attempt to think.

And then burst into song when it could not come up with anything, not caring who was around, if anyone was indeed around to hear it sing. "And like a little bird, we'll fly, up up in the air~ Catch a cloud, make it so sunny always ♫"

Mokona giggled to itself. It was so clever, coming up with lyrics like that.

He stared at the singing thing. It looked like a monster but it wasn't something he was familiar with. It also spoke the same language as him but that wasn't something too strange. Moombas were able to speak his father's name after all (if only that).

It was the fact it was singing that surprised him. Not that he showed it on his face. He just stared blankly at the thing.

...Right. I don't want to know. Squall turned and started off for the other direction.
