[ screw teamwork. better yet: screw these idiot heads getting ahead of their game. they might tread their way easily through the natives of the city, but here's one samurai stubborn ass who is not easy on how much and how deep he cuts with his sword. there's blood on the blade, which he wipes off with a rather harsh movement of arms. ]
Tch! [ to have to taint his sword's blade with human blood. it's not like he enjoys it, but sometimes he really isn't given much of a choice. they're not dead, though, just mortally wounded (hoorah!) ] Despicable.
[ if he follows this trail of rampaging soldiers through the city, how many more will he find? not like it matters much. training is always better with a sparring partner--even if they suck ass at keeping up a fight for more than ten minutes. has yet to encounter one of these soldiers with the special power amulets, but he's focusing on moving on and hacking through whatever gets on his way. ]
