characters: Laguna Loire, Cissnei

location: Outside of the Repairman's Shop in the Business District
time: ...late afternoonish /o/
rating: G. for guns
open/closed: Closed.

summary: Laguna answers Cissnei's ad in the journal network to help her with some guns.

She was still surprised someone had answered the journal advertisement in the first place.

Or rather, Cissnei was more on the side of... relieved. Ever since the Black General went silent-- literally-- there had been a nagging unease on her mind, a little whisper-whisper that something was very much wrong. That, coupled with the restlessness plaguing her mind at not being able to do anything, was quietly eating away at her composure. She needed something to do, a direction to go towards, goal. It had been like that ever since she could remember-- sitting still was never an option. Especially not for a Turk. Especially not when her intuition was setting up red flags.

Especially not when one of the in-commands of the City disappeared overnight without a word from the others. And the City itself had been rather quiet lately, but not a good kind of quiet. No, it was more of the kind of quiet before explosions shattered through it like so much rice paper rather than the placid quiet of an empty room.

Well, that quiet could go stuff it. Cissnei wanted noise.

Briskly turning a the last corner before the Repairman's Shop came into view, Cissnei adjusted the knapsack on her back that held the gun, the musket, and the firearm parts. The pistol had been hard enough to come by from the Smithy not too far from here; she'd had to cajole and charm and finally intimidate by using Soren's name and her position as a member of the Guard. And it wasn't state-of-the-art either. She sighed quietly, hoping that something would come of this, before seeing the figure up ahead by the Shop.

Finally, something to do. "Mr. Loire!"
