summary: Vergil's still stuck as Nelo Angelus, and Dante found his half of the Amulet he dropped upon arrival. Let's see if Dante can shake Mundus's hold on him, all while Nero crashed the party via Vergi's
invitation. The great blade in armored hands was glowing blue and purple, swung in a quick fell swoop that wound up clapped between the beast's rows of sharp teeth. There was a moment of contemplation in the warrior's glowing red eyes, before twisting the weapon up and shoving his head backwards. The thing snarled and slobbered, and Nelo Angelo took a cautious step back before the energies fired up again and he was behind the creature, digging his sword deep into its furred body.
His powers were still mostly latent, the collar constricting beneath the armor. His eyes went to the weapon in his hand, the one that Mundus had given him, a large bulky thing that was even more tawdry than Force Edge. He despised it, on some layer beneath the facade he was forced to keep as this New Being, the only distinctions of a dormant personality he could let out.
The beast twitched, not spilling the sand he was so used to seeing, instead real, red blood. Interesting.
Withdrawing the sword with a quick leap back, he went to charge again ...
Only to feel a familiar sense behind him.
