'Rolling' out of bed was never particularly something Sephiroth did, but one could imagine how he had done so that morning, only to find his cellphone charger sitting by his bedside. ... Well. Better than an apple to the head whilst stretching. There were far less convenient things, surely. Still, the thing was a great amount of useless whilst not in his world. Power was well and good, but no signal? Pointless. He wouldn't even be able to receive mail from the very inhabitants in Solace from Gaia.
And even now, after morning training, he stares at the objects lain upon his bed with an almost untrusting satisfaction. Curiosity, really. Why were they here? How had they gotten here? The same pathways and portals which they had taken? The same means? What was the source of the omnipotent power, and how did he find it to turn its flow of energies to opposite direction? He needed to know what Zack had spoken of when first reunited in Solace. He needed to know the hints Genesis dropped and the ... the feeling of being left out of the circle.
Mirthlessly, he tilted his head away, looking to the window.
Was he even a SOLDIER any more? He still introduced himself that way, but the impending idea of defecting had already been lain out when he spoke to Zack in Junon, just before arriving. There was something ... strangely nostalgic about thinking on that memory. So many pressing Missions awaiting back home, going without task. Did that make the future so many worried about ... escaping? Did he want to escape it?
... At the very least, with all his pensive frowning, he was floating nowhere soon.
