We have lift-off...
Great news: Andy got a job in St. Louis!!!!!! We are finally moving!!!!
He starts on September 18th, but I won't be moving then. We're still trying to figure out when the best time will be for me to leave school and join him in STL. I suspect that I'll stay until Christmas, which means that I'll still be around to help Carly get ready for the wedding and my own dress fittings won't be an issue. But that's just my suspicion. :)
Additionally, my parents are currently traveling (my step-mom is a traveling nurse) which means that their house is vacant. They want to sell the house and have asked Andy and I to move in and get it ready. Andy, of course, will be in STL, but I am going to move in. This means that I will be in my very own BIG house rent and utility free. As an added bonus, my brother Josh will be there also, meaning that I don't have to live alone while I'm waiting to join Andy.
I'm super sad to leave my co-workers because they are wonderful and I love them dearly. However, it's time to move on. And it is happening so early in the year that I'm not going to get to attached to my kids. Nice. This situation is pretty awesome. It's like we've been waiting forever for God to open the door to that next step...and now the waiting is over and He's moving BIG.
And as an added bonus, Andy is making me cranberry-orange scones. Yum.
