If you could use a tub of Got2B inPLAY sculpting paste, let me know. It's good for short hairstyles where you want a soft, restylable hold and a matte texture (think beach hair/second-day hair.)
It's essentially wax, lanolin, and shea butter, so it doesn't really "dry," per se, so it doesn't get crunchy, and it has a rather nice pine/balsawood scent. I bought it to use on doll wigs, but it's a little too heavy for the fine fibers. The tiny travel tub that came with it is all i'll ever need.
Uh, free, of course. If you threw me a couple of dollars for shipping, i wouldn't complain, but if you can't do that, that's fine, too. I just don't want it to end up as Yet Another Thing on my desk. :F
