Masi Oka Making New Series for Syfy. Yays!
Syfy ordered a pilot script from Masi Oka & writer Alex Sabeti for a show called The Correctors, about alternate universes and time travel. The description sounds like a mixture of Source Code, Fringe, Time Cop, & SGU (what with the body-swapping). It's also being compared to Inception, so maybe stylized visual effects will play a major role.
Description: The Correctors follows two agents of the Exceptions Bureau who are dispatched to a parallel universe where they inhabit the bodies of their identical selves in order to stop events from occurring.
So, the description sounds a bit like copies of other previous things thrown together, but I'm sure there will be more to it. And hey, new science fiction on my tv screen is always good!
