LJ PSA & Chaos :(
(Fell asleep on the couch earlier. Had a really disturbing dream. Trying to shake it off before heading for bed for real.)
1. What?? Noooooooo. CBS pulls CHAOS after only 3 episodes. The remaining episodes may or may not be aired. Argh.
2. PSA: There's a new LJ security feature to target spam. "Comments containing a link to a non-whitelisted domain will be marked as spam and moved to a special section." Unfortunately, as morgandawn pointed out, most fan sites are non-whitelisted, so a lot of comments are being marked as spam and hidden. (Not entirely sure what "whitelisted" means *exactly*, but will consult Mr. Google in a second. I know it means verified in some form.) To turn this new default off, go to your Account Settings Privacy page (linked in this LJ news) and uncheck the Spam Protection.
On the plus side, LJ says: "In order to show our appreciation for your loyalty and support, we'll be automatically extending two weeks of Paid Account time to all users holding a Paid account for any amount of time during the period from March 30th to April 12th, GMT."
