Belated Merry Christmas! If you celebrate, hope you had a good one. If you don't, hope you had a good Saturday. Mine was...odd. But good. I think. Maybe? I ate way too much chocolate, which is always of the good. And I have the Doctor Who special to look forward to, whee!

You guys! Teyla is a singer! I did not know this! Yes, I will totally be buying this album, even if it's crap. Aww, I love her.
4. ALIEN's Ellen Ripley: The Evolution of the Iconic Heroine and Her Influence On Other Strong Female Characters
5. FYI: Hawaii Five-0 high quality promo pics are all collected here. My favorite is Grace Park in the vest.
6. Apparently since MGM owns SGU, not Syfy, TPTB are looking into possibilities to continue the show. (I know a lot of my flist hated SGU, but it would make me happy. So, yeah. Very pleased there's some hope.) Sounds like either shopping it to another channel or making a tv movie to wrap up the storyline, like Farscape did. Both are a long shot, and either would be awesome, but obviously I'd prefer it to continue as a series. Stargate SG-1 moved from Showtime to SciFi Channel, so there is precedence. Frankly, I think Starz would be a perfect fit.
Btw, this tweet from Jewel Staite is both sad & adorable. ILU Jewel. "More drinks" is always the best option.
7. Speaking of cancellations, apparently Medium was officially cancelled a little while ago? I missed that announcement. That's sad, but probably not unexpected. I used to love that show, but haven't been watching this season. The episodes have been collecting on my DVR, but I'm never in the mood. Which probably says something. One of these days I'll have a marathon. I do still love Joe & Allison & Lee.
