Movie Rec: Infernal Affairs

I have this thing where I like to see the original movie before I see a remake. I don't know why. It's a thing. Anyway, Martin Scorsese's The Departed is actually a remake of a Hong Kong movie called Infernal Affairs. I'm not sure if too many people know that. I haven't seen The Departed yet, so I don't know how it compares, but I just watched Infernal Affairs. And it is WONDERFUL. Really, really good. And apparently there's a trilogy of movies, but so far only the first one is on NetFlix (where I rented it). I'm so tempted to buy the trilogy in order to see what happens. And I don't do that often, because, well, I have no money. As soon as I was done watching it, I went straight over to my computer to rip it for video making. It's THAT GOOD. Yan! Lau!

But if you do watch it, for the love of all that is good and holy, watch it with subtitles. Dubbing makes the angels weep!
