I finally watched the first episode of the V remake.

I liked it. I didn't love it, but it was ok. I think it had the potential to be awesome, but they failed to use that potential. Of course, this is just the pilot, so it could still become awesome. Who knows.

I hope Alan Tudyk's character isn't really dead, because I like watching Alan Tudyk. Morena Baccarin is good at being Not Quite Right--plus the way they styled her made her beauty look Not Quite Human. I liked that. So far my favorite character is the lawyer(?) who was going to propose, and turned out to be an alien. Alien joining forces with the rebel humans, yay. I couldn't remember his name, but IMDB tells me it's Ryan Nichols.

Uh, other than that I thought it was pretty meh. I have to agree with other people in that I wish they hadn't jumped forward those 3 weeks there. I would have liked to see the aliens slowly gaining people's trust and then have subtle things happen to make some people question and investigate. Instead they skipped that and jumped into an already formed human resistance and an already devoted mainstream. Oh well.

Overall, it was ok. I liked it enough to keep watching.
