New pics released here. This movie is going to be so surreal & twisted & gorgeous. The Mad Hatter looks scary as fuck. I can't wait! My first thought after seeing these was: The vids for this movie are going to be amazing.

I'm really excited about it. Have you ever seen Neil Gaiman's Mirrormask? It's not Tim Burton, but it's the same kind of style.

i haven't seen mirrormask, but i've seen a few vids & it does look creeepy. i really have to watch it some day - from the vids it kinda reminds me of pan's labyrinth a bit...

I really want this to be good, but I'm scared that it will be more like the IMHO bad and campy Charlie & the Chocolate Factory remake, than truly terrifying. :( It will be pretty no doubt, but I want more.
