I'm a few episodes behind in A2A, but I'm going to try to catch up this weekend.
2x02: (I wish they episode titles.)
Ok, I must write out this amazing dialogue exchange:
Romani Woman: Your fate is connected with the fate of many others.
Gene: So I'm a copper. Get your coat.
R.W.: What sign are you?
Gene: Serpico.
R.W.: The hanged man tells me that you have power. Power that you will soon be forced to give up.
Gene: Will be a cold day in hell when that happens, Grandma. Coat.
R.W.: You give up your power to a Tyler.
Gene: What?
R.W.: A Tyler.
Gene: Tyler.

At which point, I think I shouted, "Holy crap!" and then preceded to rewatch that scene 3 times. Eeeeeeee! Gene's face when she said that! He looked like he'd been punched in the gut.
Now, did she say "You'd give up your power"--you'd as in "you would." Or was it "You give up..."? I rewound it a bunch of times and still couldn't tell for sure. Of course, we later learn that it actually referred to a Masonic Tyler, but still. Eee!
AWESOME use of Phil Collins' "In the Air Tonight." Loved the drum beats as the ceiling lights went off. Actually, I love the use of music in this season so far in general. Come on, Eileen. Heh.
Awww! Chris proposed to Shaz! Chris/Shaz ♥ ♥ ♥
Alex was so upset when she thought she'd lost Gene as an ally. I love their relationship. OH ALEX!
I love that this show hasn't forgotten about Life On Mars, with this reference to Sam Tyler. I would love for Sam to appear to Alex (even just briefly), to help her on her journey, but I doubt that will happen. It would make me so happy, though.
