I will of course watch Being Human. But I have such a problem with the new Mitchell. The old one looked and behaved like a Dandy from the 1920s. He always kind of seemed out of time in the way he walked, talked and behaved. The new Mitchell just seems way too normal and common in comparison.

And the new Annie....
I have no idea why anyone would recast that role if they had Andrea Riseborough.

Yes, EXACTLY. I mean, to be fair, we haven't seen the new guy in action, so maybe he will move/act like that. Who knows. But yeah, the old Mitchell really did seem like he wasn't from our time.

Also, yeah, I loved the old Annie so much.

If you go to Youtube and search for "Being Human" and "Prequels" you get three 5-minute-movies about all three characters. George's was great, and I also just watched Mitchell's.

I liked him, but not as much as I liked the original Mitchell. I can't help wondering what Guy Flanagan would have done with that scene, and I think instead of making Mitchell nothing but creepy he'd given him a certain charme, even when being threatening. I think I'll still miss the old version of the character a lot.

What the hell? I just started Annie's scene, and they recast the HOUSE. I loved that house. It had character.

Now I'm depressed.

Ok, I just watched all 3. Still love George (no surprise there). He seems to have lost weight? I had to laugh at the obnoxious, dumb American tourist stereotype. Fair's fair, considering all our horrible British stereotypical tv characters.

New Annie. I...I think I really like her actually. She could be interesting. I still love the original Annie beyond reason, but I think this one could be good in a different way.

New Mitchell. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooo. SIGH. If I wasn't comparing him to the original Mitchell, I'd probably like him more. He could be ok. But he's just Not Mitchell. He's your typical Brooding Vampire Hunk Guy that we've seen in a dozen shows & movies already. SIGH.
