I saw Max Payne tonight with friends.
That was really dumb. Sorry, Wahlberg. It started out really cool. And there were some amazing visuals that I'd love to play around with, vidding-wise. But sadly, dumb. First off, there's nothing supernatural--which was a let down. I thought it was going to be all demons and Constantine-like. Nope. They're all just on drugs & hallucinating. Boo. Beau Bridges was awful, in a funny way. And his Evil Plan was just Dumb. Oh well. It was fun though. (I may have laughed at moments that weren't meant to be funny.)
However, it was great seeing Amaury Nolasco in a movie! Yay for him. Aw, I hope he gets lots of great roles from this. It was surreal seeing Sucre as a villain. I kept expecting him to suddenly be adorable and hug people, or cry about Maricruz. Ludacris did a good a job. Mila Kunis' character could have been cooler, but oh well. I was disappointed that Jamie Hector (from The Wire) was only in one scene, which was in the preview.
So, overall, it had a lot of potential to be really kickass, but just turned out dumb. With some pretty visuals.
Ok, I know everyone has seen this by now, but I watched it again when I got home and it is STILL TOO AWESOME.

(Hey,
aurora_84 &
sdwolfpup! Dean found Michael's Sona mix tape! I'll have you know that I picture Michael rocking out like this when he's all alone in his bedroom.)
Speaking of PB, these 2 stills from the next episode make me happy:
One. Two. (thanks,
sdwolfpup! *g*) More mutual touching of the Plan Wall! Score! Yes, there's a very good reason why the Alex/Michael comm is called
wallporn.
Somehow everything relates back to Prison Break lately...
