Ponderous reflections
I saw this really low-budget but thought-provoking piece of art and it got me thinking on some strange tangents...
I heard from someone that there is as much grey matter in the rest of the body as in the head, and that specifically, there are significant concentrations of it in our fingertips. In essence, intelligence exists beyond the brain itself.
The oft-heard saying is that men "think with their dicks." To some extent, the old adage is true, but, all joking aside, I cannot put from my mind two questions:
1.) Is there a significant concentration of grey matter down there?
2.) What might the ramifications be of surgically grafting some, were that possible? A higher concentration of bodily-kinesthetic intelligence there? A "penius" IQ?
