I don't have enough four letter words to say right now to hurl at this homophobic motherfucker.

Dear List,
AMORC made no mention of sexual preferences leaving that as a personal matter. Their model was to be an open door, recognizing that each person brings a personal baggage to the table, and must sort that out on their own. Homosexuality very well may be one of many experiences that each of us goes through, and as such, it is part of the cycles of incarnation. AMORC is a mystical organization and not a magical one and from personal experience I can stay that makes a difference in group work.
When working in lodge, via the Path of the Heart, sexual orientation appeared to play little matter as the emphasis was on inner attunement, not creating a polarity for some kind of manifestation - be it psychic or material.
On the other hand, I have found, as have many I have dealt with, that homosexuality in a magical setting can be tricky. Your mileage may vary.
As for myself, I do not ask a person where they put their parts on their time, only lay out the pluses and minuses of the various human conditions as I understand them, fully aware that each of us must work them out on our own.
With out opening a can of worms, we must face the reality that homosexuality is a dead path from a biological point of view. The forces of life are not manifest completely, it has no genetic future, the first and most important reason we have sexual drive and power - to create physical life. Kether in Malkuth, as Malkuth in Kether.
Homosexuality and heterosexuality are not equal, thus we have two different words for them. One can produce a physical future, life, the other cannot. How an individual or groups deal with this is part of their personal and corporate unfoldment.
For myself, and others, to avoid the issues that this creates I advocate a path of the heart for collective work, as this seems to mitigate the issues that occur when energy is circulated with the sexual centers and then out into a group, as is done in magical work.
Sincerely,
Mark Stavish
