SG-1 Plot bunny/research notes
SG-1 are on either on the promethus-style ship of the time (Odyseey still around?) . I'm think Alkesh since it's smaller and I can have just the team. Anyway, the confront this entity that makes them under go the seven deadly sins. Which according to Wikipedia are:
Listed in the same order used by both Pope Gregory the Great in the 6th Century AD and Dante Alighieri, the seven deadly sins are as follows: luxuria (extravagance, later lust), gula ( gluttony), avaritia (avarice/ greed), acedia ( sloth), ira ( wrath), invidia ( envy), and superbia ( pride/ hubris). Each deadly sin is opposed by one of the corresponding Seven Holy Virtues.
I've already decided that Teal'c will be glottony, Sam anger and Daniel/Vala extravagance/lust. Which means I only have Cam and 4 more sins so I need to bring some more characters into the story. Although perhaps Vala could do the greed part as well as the E/L. Cam could be sloth. Which leaves behind envy and pride.
So I need to find two more people.
Anyway, it's kinda based on the episode of Farscape where John, Aeryn and Crais are effected by the solor energy of the star Talyn's orbiting.
Lust is best described as depraved thought, unwholesome morality, desire for excitement, or need to be accepted or recognized by others.
Um...when did the need to be accepted by others become a form of lust?
