Characterization Questions for SGA
I am writing a one-shot sequel to WMC where Eric (also known as Ricky) is born. THere are a couple things I can't figure out.
Before you can answer I have to tell you a few things about what the idea was. The Ancients have a room that does accelarated Invitro. At the end of WMC, Ti-ame decides to be a bit devious and points out the room (failing to tell them it's use) so Rodney and Liz go and check it out. Liz gets sick, and they found out the room took genetic information from each of them and she's now pregnant and is going though it in 9 days instead of 9 months. Basically they have to get used to the idea of being parents Fast.
1. How would Elizabeth and Rodney react to suddenly being parents? How would it effect their new relationship (It's only just gone over the platonic ridge)?
2. I figure John isn't all that against having kids. He seems to be good with them anyway. Looking to see if anyone agrees with me here. I have a scene where JOhn comes in and sees ROdney with Baby Eric and they get to talking where Rodney is teasing him about Mia babysitting and it perhaps making her want children. Thats really it. And no, Mia's not having Anya anytime soon. Eric is 2 years older then Anya (who is born the normal way...all the months and all:))
