A Snipit of Bondage

Summery: For 10 days, Liz and Rodney are stuck together.
~ Day One ~
The trip had gone fine up until the end of their post mission physicals. She had loved the planet and it's culture. The food had been great and she had enjoyed a good three days of relaxation. But then they had gotten back to Atlantis and Rodney had tried to go to his lab.
And gave her a migraine to end all migraines. She took small comfort in the fact that he had suffered too. The strange part is that Carson could not find a single thing wrong with them physically. They were in the best health they had been during their tenure at Atlantis.
Which led to what seemed like endless waiting while Kate Heightmeyer and Kiana Roberts arrived in the briefing room. Rodney was sitting as far as he could from her without causing them both severe pains. It appeared to be exactly 10 feet in any direction. It happened when she moved out of the "containment zone" as John called it. At first he had found it hilarious, but he was being serious at the moment. Though that could be just because he was going to have to interact with Kiana.
Liz did not know why John and Kiana seemed to go out of their way to avoid each other. It seemed to be mutual though. Rodney seemed to smirk every time John had to interact with the woman, which no doubt meant that he knew. Rodney and John were strangely enough the best of friends. She would have never expected that. In fact she had thought John and Aiden Ford would be friendlier towards each other then Rodney and John.
Kiana Roberts had only been on the base for about four months. She had been transferred after study contact with earth had been achieved to replace one of the anthropologists who had died. She wasn't what anyone expected. Liz had found her to be a very interesting person. Her long red hair had gained her a reputation as the fiery scientist though she was really a mild mannered person and it also had Aiden referring to her as Mara Jade due to their shared love of Star Wars. She had green eyes that Liz personally was jealous of. They were a shade darker then emerald.
"Sorry it took me so long, Dr. Weir. I was with a patient." She simply nodded and motioned for Kate to take a seat. Now it was only a wait for Kiana, who unfortunately was on the other side of the city, on a much lower floor.
However, just as Liz thought about the distance, Kiana walked in. Apparently she had learned how to work the transporter. Kiana's look was one of surprise as she took in the people aroudn the table.
"May I ask why everyone's here."
"Kiana, you're the one who accompanied AR-4 to Ferngully?"
"Yes, why?"
"Do you know of any reason the Ferngullians would attack Liz and Rodney." Kiana stared at Sgt. Bates for a second. She seemed slightly annoyed.
"The Ferians abhor any type of violence. They would not attack their visiters."
"Are you sure?"
"Sgt, let us explain the situation to her."
