(no subject)
So, I used to have a "future-dated" post at the top of my LJ. It's at the top because I set it to July 20th, 2010, a date of no real significance to me, my loved ones, nor my acquaintances. At least as far as I am aware.
The post was a private one, containing a variety of information pertinent to my life at the time, such as birthdays, links, etc.
Anyway, today, I made a post for the first time since that date passed, and for the first my time since I made that post at last 5 years ago, it no longer sits at the pole position of my journal.
It's a strange feeling, especially since looking back, I can see how my life has changed. So many of these links are meaningless to me now - I don't even know what they represent. Many no longer even work, such as this: ftp://hello:kitty@69.199.217.206:21, which was apparently an FTP site I used at one point. Why? I have no idea.
The list of birthdays is also interesting, as many of the individuals on that list I no longer have contact with, though many are still close to me.
