anyway, logic and data says if you increase the amout of guns in a place, the number of gun related deaths is going to increase. Now I get the whole constitutional right to bear arms. My main problem with the house's vote to legalize handguns in D.C. is the fact that they are claiming the city will be safer. It clearly will not be. In the article they said that gun related deaths, while high relative to the nation, have been on the decline since banning handguns. If you want to legalize handguns, I don't want to hear the bullshit about it saving lives...

so there are some numbers for you. Criminals get guns by stealing ones that are legally purchased. Sure, they get them other ways too, but legalizing them in D.C. is just giving them another source. I never want to own a gun. I don't like guns. I don't have a problem with people hunting or owning guns though, since it's written into the constitution. But this doesn't mean gunownership and manufacturing shouldn't be regulated! I mean, come on people! Furthermore, don't bullshit me and say it is safer if people legally own guns. It isn't! Look at the UK. They don't allow guns, and people don't get shot.
