And the hectic part of my summer is over. The next couple weeks will go by very quickly, but be less stress filled. I talked to Hilary today, and it's sad because I don't think that we are going to get to be able to see each other this summer. Our schedules really have not lined up well. In some ways I really want to go back to school and in others I don't. I don't think I like having to move back and forth across the country. Maybe this wasn't the smartest choice, but atleast I did it for myself.
WCSG is done and we managed to pull off a silver medal. Talking to J. Butterworth a couple times and she said she really enjoyed watching me play, I had some sick tackles -- it really meant a lot to me. Maybe I'll have a chance one day if I stick with it. Talking to a chiro, I spent an hour discussing and learning how to fix and prevent Lumosacral injuries (just above the SI joint which I thought was really the thing bugging me). I learned how to fix the way I do squats, and to be conscious about the way my back is sitting.
I learned a lot this weekend and I am about ready to move on to bigger and better things. This year at school is going to be crazy, and an amazing test for me, especially with all of the things I have planned for myself at this point. Maybe my marks will slip a little bit, but not everybody graduated with a 4.0. I kind of feel like it is similar to graduating from high school; once you get there, no one cares how.
Alright, I am off to read some Harry Potter. I have started on the first book and I am just over 100 pages in. I also learned a little bit of Highschool Musical dance this weekend, I'm a little proud of myself.
Both Heathers, you are in my prayers tonight.
