It's been a fair amount of time since I have really said anything of any importance. Life has been rather hectic between life, work and field hockey, as well as random emotions and unfamiliar situations. Work is going really well. Some days are better than others, and I have learned that working 7 days in a row is not really the way to go! People have been great to me and I have been out to a couple BBQ type get togethers and had some laughs and gotten to know people outside of the work environment where they are normal people just like me. Not to imply that I am normal by any means. Field hockey finds me training nearly everyday, whether it be core strength, running or cross training. It's hard work to get it to fit around work and such, but I think it is paying off. I like playing under Carla -- it is pretty sweet. Doing sports psych today with Frank, I ended up paired with Carla for the trust/falling games! I suppose same body size and structure, we fall in the same category. That was a little scary, but not so bad! I umpired yesterday, u12 and u16, something that I need more practice at before I get assessed in August.
There are so many things that I could write about, but all in all, I'm pretty good. I had a few bad days, and I've had a couple bad moments, but I'm living and I have an awesome life. Good luck to all the grads and remember that highschool ends for everyone, and it's tough, so give someone extra a hug today.
