Today I realize why I dont go shopping on weekends. Living out in the middle of nowhere, as people will attest to me doing, leads to not much in the way of entertainment. Thus, the local young people have few areas to hang out. One such being the local mall. Needless to say it was a tad packed, what with all the teens. I dont think I heard a decent or understandable conversation the entire time I was there. Was able to get some good stuff though. Some more amazing Kernel's popcorn (ranch simply rocks), Predator and Pink Floyd. Now I just have to work on that accursed anniversary gift. I swear, the people who made this have NO IDEA on how to properly assemble it. It wouldn't pass an engineers look.
Work seems to have taken a turn for the better. My new recruiter has a few job positions lined up, with more on the way, and the industry is finally picking up again. Employment, here I come.
One thing I will miss though is the doughnuts here. There's this grocery store that makes the BEST ones I've ever had.
