..... I.... I think I just need to repost the e-mail I got.. that will do the explaining for me. His Name was Isaiah, he was just graduated from college, and had gotten a teaching job in Austin that he was moving to. He Will be missed.
Dear Orchestra Family,
This seems impossible to be writing - and I'm sorry to deliver the news via email - but I need to let you know about a tragic accident that occurred last night. Our beloved Isaiah Ray was killed in a car accident on his way back to his new Austin home last night.
Isaiah played with the jazz band yesterday and we gave him a send-off at Macaroni Grill afterward. Jackie said a beautiful prayer for him before we all went our separate ways, wishing him all of God's blessings on his new life in Austin. He was enroute from Houston to his apartment late last night when he apparently had car trouble. He pulled off to the side of the road and was hit by a truck.
There are very few details as of yet. As I know more, I'll let you know. We'll have a time of prayer and remembering Wednesday night after rehearsal.
I wish there were answers...something to make sense of this. This is where our faith comes in and, in the words of the great hymn, we're called to "Only Trust Him." I know so many of you love Isaiah, as I do. I know I'm a better person for having known him.
I know your prayers for the family will be felt and appreciated.
Love and Blessings,
Annette
