Nostalgia
I was just looking around in my room to see if I could find my iPod warranty or any paper-stuffs I have from when I got the iPod (NOTHING. Damn.) and instead I found some of my old drawings.
As in, EIGHT YEAR OLD drawings. I was twelve when I drew them.
I had all this Sailor Moon, DBZ, Power Puff Girls, Pokemon, etc. But it was so cool looking through it all, because I remember drawing basically all of it.
So that was cool.
But I don't think I have my iPod info anymore, which SUCKS, because yesterday (as Natalie got to witness) some pixels died, and the battery has gone to shit. So I think it just needs a new battery-- and I don't know how that works, exactly. The Apple store ppl gave me their website to make an appt with someone, but I haven't done it. I guess we'll see.
I found the first Half-Life at gamestop the other day! For PS2! Hooray, my first FPS. (That I've bought). I'm liking it, but it's definitely scaring me a lot of the time. Stupid freaking head crabs.
My job is also mind-numbing. I feel my brain atrophying. It's really NOT COOL. So I hope my library books come on Monday so I can have some more books to read. Plus, I need to get my shit together with my Japanese studying schedule. I've been making flashcards, but once I get something steady figured out, it'll help.
Hmmm, getting really excited for Japan since I got a ton of info the other day. It's a little over 2 months away now.
And I'll go to Beloit to see Galen in less than two weeks! (4th weekend) I just hope the flooding will be down by that time. I assume it will, since it seems like the rivers are cresting now. Because I definitely don't want the bus to take a detour to Milwaukee to get to Beloit. That would suuuuuck.

Natalie and I also had sushi yesterday. Very spur of the moment. But we really wanted some. And it was delicious. Our dessert was this "origami banana" with flambeed banana with rum and ice cream and yummm.
And finally I saw Kung Fu Hustle. WHOAH. Much much better movie than I though it was going to be.
BATMAN IS CLOOOOOSE. Come on, July. Hurry up.
