(no subject)
Whooooaaaah, it's been awhile.
So. This summer is pretty monotonous. I've got a 40-hour job for the summer- a good thing! - but, I've never had a full time job, so it's a little different.
It's an internship, technically, with my aunt at Social Security. I'm doing whatever they can give me, and most of it is, like I said, monotonous. It also means I'm living with my aunt for the week, and then at home on weekends.
Galen came to visit me!! :D Over memorial day weekend, and kinda out of the blue. I had to pick him up at 7am. XD Ouch. But, but, it was wonderful all the less.
And now we're trying to figure out more visiting times. I think I may drive down the 4th weekend, and then again taking the bus in late July. And then I'll *ALSO* be going back early to school before my flight... TO JAPAN. That's mainly so I can visit people before I leave for the semester.
But, AHHHH JAPAN. I already have the ticket bought, so I'll be there almost four months. (August 29-December 20)
And I went to ACen!! It was soooo amazing. I have all the pics posted on facebook, and I could eventually post them elsewhere, but I'm laaazy.
I went with Andy and his brother and friends, and I really got the con-kick now. I was Soi Fong and Nel (flashbacky powerful version) from Bleach. And now, I want to go to ACen every year. It'd be great if I could go to multiple cons, but that is a LOT of money to spend. Especially if I get into the cosplay. Which I am. XD
I started watching Claymore, and whoooaaaah. I can't believe how good it is. I think I've figured out my cosplays for next year: Clare from Claymore, and Rhyme from the World Ends With You, since Andy and co. are doing a group, and I really want to be in a group cosplay.
And I *finally* got a DS! WOOO. I'm borrowing almost 15 games from Andy, and I bought two myself. It's sooo much fun, and it'll be great for Japan and the plane ride there.
Hmmmm, that was a pretty shortened version, but that's good enough.
