Hey folks. Quick update on the material goods is in order, I think.

I got the Essential Kanji books, like I wanted. And the Beowulf script book. I'm halfway through it-- it has two versions in it, the original FIRST script and the one they shot from. Scripts (at least this one) are surprisingly really interesting to read. It has a lot of little nuances in it that make it even clearer that Neil Gaiman collaborated on it.

I got three cds: Of Montreal (Sundlandic Twins), Bloc Party (the new one I forget the title), and Deerhoof (Friend Opportunity). VERY happy with them all.

Ummm, clothes of fun sorts. Like an orangey-hood that I am wearing right now, so Natalie, Mitch, Alex will all see it since it is PARTY DAY today. Wooooo.

And then, giftcards. I had a lot of fun shopping yesterday. I had $45 to Target, $20 to BestBuy, and then I found a bunch of old PS2 and GBA games to sell at GameStop. I got the total to $45 there in store credit. HELL YES.

So I got clothes at Target, season 2 of Robot Chicken and Lego Star Wars (original trilogy) at Best Buy, and God of War, Katamari, and Devil May Cry 3 at GameStop.

I only spent $15 of my own money. That was the best part.

Oh, and I bought a DVD player for the family, so FINALLY I can take the PS2 to school. Good idea or no, we shall see. But I want to plaaaay gaaames. And I will bring DDR, so that makes me feel better.

I've already played Lego Star Wars-- I played the compilation version for 360 that Phi Psi had (I think it was AJ's, actually) and it was ridiculous amounts of fun. Unfortunately that version was only for the PS3, which I am NOT buying. So I got the older greatest hits version. I don't think I'll get to be Grievous, which is unfortunate, because he was SO. FUN.

Katamari I bought so I could FINALLY play it on my own and actually get better at it. And I want that Royal Rainbow.

God of War and Devil May Cry 3 were sort of random-- I'd heard both were good, and I've only played God of War so far. WHOAH. It's bloody. I rip people in HALF. Kinda cool, actually. I'm a Spartan, what do you expect?

I actually had a list I had made of possible games to buy. I had about 10 on there, but I think I'm pretty happy with what I got. I had been toying with the idea of Guitar Hero, but if I *really* want to get into it, I could go to Whitney 3rd.

Mmmmmkay. I do have things I need to do over break other than video games, but you know, I don't feel like thinking about them right now. HA. Take that. I'm going to eat some cookies and fudge now instead. And then more God of War. I have to kill Ares! RAAAR.
