barbarism begins at bass jams

So after many months of irksome nagging, Lizz Hickey has finally appeased this giant child with these wonderful drawings. They're everything I hoped for and more, Lizz, thank you so much.

The summer looks promising so far, although we'll see how it plays out in actuality. I don't think I even need to mention how fantastic it will be to spend June in France, but I will anyway.  It doesn't seem like it's really going to happen, although I guess the feeling of "being in France" is not going to hit me until I'm actually there. So until then it will continue to feel like a vague dream, an unlikely possibility floating around in the back of my head while I plod about during these last days of the semester. Speaking of which, as I've been cleaning my room, I realize that nearly everything of mine is sticky with old, spilt beer. I've raked up so many party fouls this semester that I should be suspended from the league.

I'm too funny. Really, I'm just so, so funny. It's painful.

I downloaded a string tribute to The Smiths today, and at the risk of sounding like a nerdy fanboy, I think it's pretty good.
