I can't really tolerate covers of Man in the Mirror because most singers just can't overcome the sheer 80s cheesiness, but this is the only one I love. a really chill, soul version (i think).

Run - Leona Lewis (Live @ BBC)
I'm kind of torn between uploading the single mix and the original live, but the BBC version's harder to find I guess. I've overplayed this song a bit on my playlist so its lost its charm, but I remember loving it the first time I heard it.
Run - Snow Patrol
doesn't quite stand up to repeat listens but very, very pretty the first few times.
Viva La Vida - Lady Gaga
oh lady gaga. once upon a time she was exceedingly, exceedingly irritating to me, but somewhere around the 32nd forced listen of pokerface and her cracktastic papparazi performance on the vmas I ended up liking her anyway (she's lucky she can actually sing). anyway this is a fairly interesting cover of the song, i quite like the tweaks she's made.
Viva La Vida - Coldplay
It was a terrible song with a terrible video until I read the lyrics, then it was just lol! (but kind of nice).
Falling Slowly - Kris Allen
i thought it was kind of ballsy for him to do this song on idol, only reason I rooted for him. anyway, it's sweet, this version :)
Falling Slowly - Glen Hansard & Marketa Irglova
nothing beats the original of course. i suspect I only liked this song in the beginning because of the Once movie, but it does grow on you.
When You Were a Starlight (Mashup) - The Killers & Muse
ok, not a cover, but its a pretty good mashup.
Bleeding Love - Jesse McCartney
Ugh Jesse McCartney. Did you know he co-wrote the song? I always got the impression that he may not even know how to spell, much less write a hit song...
anyway I .... well I don't love it, it's a little too Jonas Brothers for me, but I have it (somehow) and I just wanted an excuse to pair it with....
Bleeding Love - Leona Lewis (Live @ Stripped)
it's a nice live version. sentimental value for being a karaoke favourite :D
