That's disheartening...
... I was just NOT willing to go to the cafe last night. I almost considered it, but I had to have some time to talk with my daughter while I had the chance. My ex is being more strict with her phone limits and is suspicious of whether Goggles is keeping in contact with me or not! I've never seen her tightening the belt on ANYTHING this much. . . I guess she just really wants to avoid me? *sigh* I'm not even sure if it's out of anger or fear. Whatever the reason, it's ended up with her only having her phone on during very few weekdays.
... Either way, I'll be sure to drop by the cafe this coming weekend. I suppose I need a little something to put me in brighter spirits.
Let me tell you... it was pretty interesting talking to you on AIM a couple of days ago. I think this is one of the very few times I've really held a longer conversation with anyone here apart from Banjo! And at least with you, you didn't pick up a random monocle habit in mid-conversation... And we seem to be pretty similar in some ways. I think we'll actually come to be very good friends!
By the way, I have some of the scones I promised you wrapped up and ready to go. (Yep, I didn't forget about them!) When do you want me to drop them off? I'm free all week.
