This is how the roles of Heaven and Hell were decided.
Omnipotent Universe Guy: Okay, now choose between Heaven and Hell.
God: GO FOR THE GOLD!
Lucifer: Hm...well....Go for the gold eh? Gold....is in the ground....Heaven is in the clouds....Hell is in the ground...Okay! I'll take hell
O.U.G.: Very well, Lucifer. Hell is yours. God gets heaven.
And THAT is how heaven and hell were decided. Man, I rock. I should get an award. Or...some cheesecake at the very least.
