First and foremost I have been cigarette free for 1 month and 8 days! I wouldn't say I "feel great" as there are several other things that account for my health, but it is nice to wake up in the morning without feeling like there is pudding in my lungs.
Secondly! I have acquired a new kibby. What is a kibby you ask? Behold!
Such cuteness shall not be cut! Her name is Orchid and she's a little troublemaker. She has a lil problem with her right eye but it doesn't detract from her cuteness. And her personality is that of which I would aspired to be. Fearless, and determined. She pretty much forced Bruiser (Lou's cat) to love her.
What else, what else...
We got the new bed, FINALLY! It is still a futon but the damn thing is more comfortable then my bed back home. It's probably the most comfortable bed I've slept in, ever. WITH the exception of BK's bed. Don't worry people, BK wasn't involved in the sleeping process. But, damn, that thing was comfy. :continues to make plans on smuggling it out of there: Anywho, a futon is pretty much the best bet for our current apartment. See, it's a studio...which means as soon as you walk in the door you're in the living room, bedroom and dining room. It's not as bad as it sounds. It's quite cozy actually.
That's about all I can think of right now.
I'm sure I'll be back later with updates of the kitten. We have to take her to the vet for a checkup and see if her eye is something we need to worry about in the future. Hoping it's just scar tissue from a previous surgery like we were told.
