A word from the not-so-wise. When going to a concert, make sure that the concert is not held in a college that has a high population of deaf and hearing impaired students. Sure, feeling the music in a whole new way was...fun at first. Until I literally had to plug my ears up to hear the music.
Once I did so, the bands were awesome. Paramore, not only put on a great show with very high energy from the lead singer, but it was absolutely visually mindblowing. Jimmy Eat World actually didn't seem all too enthused to be there after their performance.
And Dear and the Headlights...their levels were even worse. Overloading speakers and such with the lead singers quiet yet two seconds later blowing your eyeballs out of your head voice. RIT students must have been doing the levels for them [the opener band] because afterwards Paramore and Jimmy Eat World were much better.
But, yeah. Deaf/Hearing Impaired Concerts. Take earplugs so you can actually hear the music.
