Review On Rebirth

This is the return of Jennifer Lopez back to the Pop seen. Well everybody knows that I am a Jennifer Lopez fan but that has nothing to do with the anything. I am going to start reviewing albums fairly.

This is probably, Jennifer's best album to date. She has grown vocally and musically. The lead single is Get Right, this is a song that once you hear it the song gets stuck in your head. The controversy surrounding the song wad that Usher had an un released song that was similar, but that didn't hurt the chance of this song being a hit, This is a great lead off single.

Step Into My World is a great song her breezy vocals shine Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins knows how to make Jen's voice suit the song.

Hold You Down is the 2nd single off Rebirth. It is a good song about friendship with Fat Joe who also is on the song. This was not a great choice for a 2nd single. The song is very similar to All I Have.

Whatever You Wanna Do is a great song she shines the production work on it is great.

Cherry Pie which is a very sexual song very Prince type.

I Got U my favorite song on the album which is about her relationship with her husband Marc Anthony a nice summery song and could be a hit if it is released.

Still Around is an Ok song not her best but it works for her. Marc Anthony makes an on appearance the song, where he coos on how much he loves his wife and crap like that, he is really annoying in the song it could and might be better if they take his part out.

Ryde Or Die this is a song written by Brandy this is a great song really suits Jen's voice.

This is where the albums falls flat I,Love is one of the worst songs she has ever recorded it is too long, annoying vocals it is just a plain album filler album.

He'll Be Back a song produced by Timberland great song it is obvious that it is about her ex fiancee Ben, good song and her vocals again shine.

The final track on the album (Can't Believe) This Is Me this is the song that if it was released that could potentially give Jen a Grammy nomination. The song has alot of passion and her vocals are excellent compared to all of the song she has sung on. Co-Written by her husband and produced by him, He brings the best out of Jen and this song is an indication of it

I would Give Rebirth 4/5 great album a couple of misses. But I think everybody is waiting for Jenny From The Block to go back to her Waiting For Tonight Era where she was shinning like nobody business .
