so close yet so far
13 days and counting. As much as I love it here, I cannot wait to get back to DC. Of course I'll miss the friends I have here, but I think this past weekend has proven that we all need to get the hell away from each other. I spoke to my dad earlier this evening and he assured me that come Fall, I'll be dying to return to school. Somehow I doubt it though, because what I'll be leaving then will in no way measure up to what I'll be coming back to. I'd much rather think of it as "returning" home and "leaving" for school, for everything and everyone who makes me feel at home currently lies about 800 miles east of where I am...
On a completely unrelated note, this past weekend there was a huge water fight which quickly escalated to a huge mud fight. 20,000 water balloons, about 200 people... whew.
