Gold gown, part 1
Okay, I'm posting with an update that I finally started the gold gown today. I don't normally do dress diaries, but I'll be making a few posts on the progress of the dress, and I'd appreciate any input you all would feel like giving.
Got going on the bodice tonight. Yeah, I know, I need to clip my armscye seams- I'm getting there! I've noticed that when I sew, I tend to make it too big, then sew it smaller 1/2 inch by 1/2 inch. I'm such a worrier that I'll cut it too small the first time around! This gown is a mix of the red gown pattern and the pink dress pattern.
I'm going to try to be good and finish this gown before Crown Tourney april 3rd. Fortunately, my spring break starts friday, so I should have ample time!
