Suze: toast does have its ways of gettin under people's emotional walls. it's always been there for me in bad times
Suze: I owe it a lot of money but toast understands
†Alana† ~.∞: yeah, toast is cool like that.
†Alana† ~.∞: it gives without expecting anything back
Suze: it's so much better than bread. bread just soaks up all the attention and cries for help and gives nothing back
Suze: except for mold
†Alana† ~.∞: I wouldn't be too hard on bread
†Alana† ~.∞: it's always had to live in toast's shadow
Suze: whatever man, it had its chance. it was around before toast but didn't do anything with all the opportunities it was given
Suze: sorry, i guess bread has just let me down one too many times
†Alana† ~.∞: it had its day, back when it was every-man's dough
†Alana† ~.∞: it rose high and fell hard
Suze: i guess to be fair, toast never had to deal with that fall. it just took what was left over of bread and built its way on up
Suze: says: it learned from bread's mistake and made itself tough but never had to fall on its own
†Alana† ~.: I'm not sayin' bread doesn't have its faults...but once you give it a chance, hear it out, you get the rest of the story
Suze: I guess I was too hard on bread. It just needs some support, it's cool to hang around when it's kickin it with jam or peanut butter
Suze: It just needs that emotional support before it's ready for the world
†Alana† ~.: it'll never be as tough and cool as toast
†Alana† ~.: but its got its merits
Suze: gotta admit it's the emotional instability I keep falling for over and over again. It's just so soft, and breaks down easy.
Suze: I really wanna take care of it.
†Alana† ~.∞: bread sure is a softie! Just add a little margarine and its putty in your hands. And it works well with others (like soup).
†Alana† ~.: don't tell toast I said so, but it can be a little flaky at times.
Suze: : I didn't want to bring it up but it totally can. It talks so big but then crumbles under the pressure
†Alana† ~.: let's face it...in a tough situation, it just can't take the heat and burns out.
Suze: and when it burns out DAMN is it ever dramatic about it! just keeps reminding you about it no matter how much you try to fan out the situation
†Alana† ~.∞: no kidding!
†Alana† ~.: it leaves you trying to scrape up the mess weeks later.
Suze: It's a mess even on the good days. No matter how great a time you have with it you look around you after it's gone and there's all the debris of the conversation scattered around
†Alana† ~.: I know! it can be pretty crumby company by times.
