It's Labor Day.
I will spend at least some of it thinking and learning about the workers who fought for things like weekends and minimum wages and workers' compensation and overtime and have to fucking continue this fight because the assholes who run this country don't care about working people.
Kanye West was right. Bush doesn't care about black people.
He doesn't care about poor people.
Neither do the rest of the corporate elite who run this country.
It doesn't take a hurricane to know which way the wind blows.
But it sure puts things in stark fucking relief.
