Cally totally wasn't back resting in Mac's bed, sulking a little over having detention. Except she totally was. At least she knew she'd be getting some visitors.

Piper and Veronica walked up to Mac's room after Paige had orbed them to the island. They were both concerned about Cally, so visiting her to make sure she really was okay was the only option.

Veronica opened the door and let herself and Piper in.

She tried really hard not to let the shock at Cally's appearance show on her face. She failed utterly.

"Oh, honey," she said quietly.

Piper probably failed at trying not to look shocked also. But she managed a sympathetic smile. "Hi Cally. How're you feeling?"

"We're going to slaughter the bastard that did this to you," Veronica said, moving to carefully hug Cally.

Veronica gave Cally a look. "You just concentrate on getting better," she said. "We'll take care of it. There are a lot of people trying to figure out who did this to you."

Cally let out a little snort. "Everyone's offering to get me stuff," Cally said. "I'm good, honest. Though I wouldn't turn down a good vegan smoothie."
