Room #411, Thursday Evening

Okay, so Cally hadn't snuck out or anything while Mac went to class. She was still in Mac's bed, in Mac's room, with all the stuff people'd been giving her over the past few days. She was being good about the whole resting up thing.

"I hope they found Bridge 'n Z okay," she said to Mac

"I'm they have... or will, or something," Mac said reassuringly as she shoved a few books back onto her shelves. "Parker said she and Anders have it under control, right? So, it should be fine."

Cally nodded. "Yeah," she said. "'m just worried, that's all."

Mac nodded. "I get that," she said. "I don't know either of them that well, but still kinda unnerving just knowing it's going on."

Cally twisted a bit of a blanket in her hands. "No one else should be getting hurt like me," she said.

"And with any luck, they wont," Mac said looking over her shoulder at Cally, and watching her fiddling. She put the last books down and went over to sit on the bed near Cally. "They're going to find who did it, so no one else gets hurt."

"'ood," Cally said. "Cause the whole 'getting attacked and not knowing' thing is starting to freak me out."

A little frown of concern flitted across Mac's face. "I thought we agreed that freaking out wasn't allowed," she said with a little, hopefully reassuring, smile at Cally.

"'orry," Cally said. "I just don't have a lot to do other than think. And... ogle."

[imac_kenzie]

Mac chuckled at the last part and shook her head in amusement. "I obviously need to entertain you better."

Cally tilted her head. "Oh really?"

[imac_kenzie]

"Well, if watching me put away books is one of the entertaining parts of the evening," Mac said. "I'm obviously not really doing a very good job."

"Got any ideas?" Cally asked.

[imac_kenzie]

"You're the one I'm supposed to be keeping happy here," Mac pointed out with a little grin. "And with you being injured, I'm likely to agree to anything. You should probably make the most of it."

"So I should take advantage and ask for a little floor show?" Cally said.

[imac_kenzie]

Mac arched an eyebrow. "Floorshow, huh?"

[sogothcally]

"It'd be something better to ogle," Cally said, trying to look innocent.
