The 3rd Storm [4th Wall 3]

Dec 10, 2011 02:51

You have got to be kidding me.

[That may be a familiar voice to some, but it certainly sounds annoyed, and it's easy to tell why. Lightning is wearing this, feather cape attached to the waist plate included. And it's shedding. A lot. So, yes, feathers everywhere and that includes in her hair and face. Amazing what a little breeze can do, isn't it ( Read more... )

wtf?!, you have to be joking, 4th wall

[His zooming right past her kicks up a ton of feathers, more of which stick to her hair as if she's some kind of human/chocobo mix, but she doesn't seem to care as she turns, clanking the entire way.

Yep. Noisy mover now. Very noisy. She'll just...try and hold still while keeping an eye on him.]

Ven. Enjoying yourself?

[Still watching until he's safely on the ground, and the thought crosses her mind that the glitter is vaguely like l'Cie magic, but then comes the question and she shakes her head. At least there's no clanking from that]

I have no idea. I wasn't in it before that light, but now...[Now she's in it, can't find a way out of it, and has magic jumping at her fingertips. It's an odd day.]

[Glancing over her shoulder at him; if there's a release mechanism in the back she hadn't seen it, obviously, but maybe he'll have more luck and--

--hey, wind. More feathers flying everywhere, though the cape still seems remarkably intact and not any thinner no matter how many feathers are flying.]

They don't. They'd only get in the way like this.

[Tugging on the cape....nope, not coming off, and neither are the feathers. Odd way to blind someone.]

I doubt it. They don't seem to come off by choice. Besides, you'd end up blinding yourself as much as you'd blind your enemy using these.

Besides annoying who ever gets stuck wearing it?

[Yeah, she's got nothing else. Can't even get the boots off or figure out why in the world it leaves the thighs exposed. Even with healing magic that's just asking for trouble.]

[That's...going to be a very long however she'll be wearing it canon, then. oi.]

Probably doesn't even do what it's supposed to. Just asking to lose something you need in this.

[Tapping the armor now; sounds solid enough, but still leaves too much exposed. She prefers her old uniform, thank you.]

[Darkness proofed spandex has it's uses. Armor that leaves a vulnerable part of human anatomy exposed, along with the feather issues....not so much useful.]

Yeah. You might want to stand back.

[Said as looks around for her bag, which just so happens to be nearby, and....yep. One pokéball coming out. Say hello to Snow the Skarmory, Ven. He's louder than his trainer's footsteps right now.]

[a shrug from Pinksis as Snow tilts his head in just as much confusion as Ven probably has going through his mind right now.]

Odin and Sen won't attack me, none of Fang's attacks are physical, and the others are too young. He's the only one that can test if this actually holds up.

[Lightning's call for a Steel Wing attack has Snow squawking as loud as when he first hatched, but it only takes one firm look before he actually does it with a lot of hesitation. He's a fast bird, and though it's only a glancing blow because he refuses to hit his trainer head on, it knocks Lightning back quite a bit.

Not a dent on the armor, though. It's good stuff, apparently.]
