[There's only one reason Lightning would have headed down to Azalea, and it's obvious as the feed turns on. No, she didn't head down for Sen to record himself, which is what he's doing at first due to some camera mishaps, but rather to get the Hive Badge from Bugsy. Sen manages to turn the camera on the gear around in time for the battle to begin ( Read more... )

[Iconface and quickly moving scenery as she picks up the feed. Seriously?] Maybe. But fighting things that are twice as strong as you isn't as easy as it looks.

I know! But you'd think they'd train their own team better when something like this happens more than once a month. [Yes, seriously.]

You'd think, but this place seems to hate change. Training up their teams would be a massive change to them. [Siiigh. She doesn't like it one bit.]

Tch. Pathetic. I mean really, what's the worst that could happen? They get stronger? Beginning trainers complain because it's not so easy anymore?

[Shrug.] Training would solve that problem. It would just take longer. [...but apparently people don't have much patience. Not that she does, to be honest.]

[Nor does he. But his tolerance for boredom is lower than his tolerance for being stalled.]

Exactly. It'd only help everyone around get stronger. I really don't see what stops them. Haha, makes me wonder if visitors like us could become gym leaders.

[That would be where more training would come in. Would give him something to do, at least.]

Don't count on that. I don't think they'd let someone who could vanish at any minute take that kind of job.

Haha, I'm not. But then, who's gonna tell them we could be gone the next day?

By now they probably already know. Too many of us have come and gone over the past nine months for them to have not noticed already.

Psh. They don't notice the background music running in their own world! How the fuck do you figure they'd realize that?

We spend money here. People will notice if their income starts to drop and if they lose customers at the same time. [The music, though...who says they hear it, too?]

Did any of them seem surprised at the amount of trainers who just keep popping up? Do any of the gym leaders look surprised at the increased amount of people who kick their asses? I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, but no shopkeeper or hotel personnel ever seems to look at us twice, so if they don't pay mind to us being here in the first place, why'd they notice us disappearing?
