The video has come on in time to see her struggling with something, and when then angle changes as her gear hits the ground, it shows that she's got one of these clinging to her, covering her entire left side and making it rather hard to move. [Shame. Fang has no personal boundaries, so she'll just be sticking close to Vaan's head and snickering more at the look on his face. The Muk, on the other hand, calls out a greeting. It's stuck fast to Lightning's side, and doesn't seem like it'll let go anytime soon.]

Woke up and it was on top of me. Couldn't get away in time.

[Fang just floats on away, but comes back seconds later to watch the fireworks. Vaan's tugging on the Muk seems to help a bit, but before Lightning can pull free, it's tugging her along with it.

Nope, sorry, his Lightning. Not letting go! ...though his grip has slackened a bit. Maybe some more tugging will help.]

[Sorry, Vaan, you might have to set it on fire----ooor not. That last bit of help Oddish offers is enough for Lightning to pull free, and she hits the ground in a roll, giving her absolute best glare to the Muk so it stays away as she dusts herself off.]

[Keeping an eye on it as well, but mostly keeping an eye on Fang as the ghost gets closer to Vaan again.]

It doesn't matter how strong someone is. If something takes them by surprise, it can be hard to recover in time.

I don't know... something.... creepy and familiar about her.

[It's a floating thing with eyes and Darkness and it's female. If you were in his world, you'd be a little creeped out too.]
