[If there is one thing to be sure of when when eggs are involved, it is that there will be gear mishaps. Like this one, which has started due to someones bag tipping over and dumping its contents to the snow covered ground. There's the sound of skin on skin, along with running footsteps and grunts of pain, but the camera is at such an angle that you can't see whats going on, or make out who it is.
What you can see, however, is a pair of glowing lights. One is from the side of the camera, decently in view, and the other is in front of the camera, next to a second egg. The glow seems to get the attention of the sparring young adults, and there's the sound of footsteps. The camera is at such an angle that its impossible to see their faces even as they crouch down beside the glowing eggs, but it's now obvious that it's Lightning and Leon. Sparring, in the snow? Nothing new for them.
What is new, however, is the two forms that have replaced the glowing eggs. They look exactly the same, but they certainly don't act the same. The one that hatched on Lightning's bag sounds a happy little "Lu!", while the one from Leon's side just gives a quiet huff at the noise. She nearly pulls away as Leon gently pats her head, and Lightning leans to pick her Riolu off the ground. After a moment of this, and the second egg amongst Leons things not even twitching, Lightning speaks.]
