Why is New Age music granted its own category? The last time I checked, the same ten performers were in the New Age bin that were there fifteen years ago. How do they get their own category?
If you can simply make up a category that FYE/Borders/Virgin Records/Harmony House (RIP)/Sam Goody and all the rest actually recognize by having ten artists, then I demand my own category. I am going to play the bongos, chant in a soothing (though brainwashing) manner, and force millions of people to throw their hard-earned cash at me.
