driving to DC from SF
As of tomorrow...
Had hoped to go through Yosemite and then wind my way over to Bryce canyon in UT on Sunday.
But evidently the Tioga pass through Yosemite is going to be shit tomorrow because it is supposed to get hit with at least 5 INCHES OF FUCKING SNOW
on June 5.
WTF. My car is absolute crap in the snow- and having lived in California for 3 years now, the mere prospect scares me.
For that matter, most of the passes over the Sierras are likely to get hit with heavy snow tomorrow.
It sounds like Echo Pass on Hwy 50 through the Eldorado National Forest might be less bad... probably going to do that. If anyone hears of that area getting unexpectedly slammed, try to call me or something. I'll probably be in a ditch somewhere.
